★☆☆☆☆
Repetitive without really saying anything new
It took me a while to read this book but I was determined to finish it. I wanted to see if it would get better but it really didn't. It was very repetitive and in some cases the author implied Meghan was a narcissistic sociopath and in others hoped that she would be successful in her endeavors such as becoming POTUS. The author spends a lot of time outlining her perceived differences of the U.K. and U.S.. Her view of people in the U.S. seems like she gets all of her information from CNN and People magazine. She should know that the media has a very low approval rating here in the U.S. and that the majority of Americans despise the media as well as celebrities. These two are too old for the younger audience and similarly aged or older Americans see Meghan as a minor league cable show actress. It is unlikely that using the word Royal would impress anyone. My first thought, and I am sure I am not alone when they got engaged was Uh Oh. Not because of her race but because of her affiliation with Hollywood.
