BEWARE!
We have been using Emeril cookware for ten years. We purchased both Emerilware 12 inch, 10 inch, and 8 inch non stick cookware pans about that long ago and have used them almost every day since then. They are the best pans we have ever owned. Unfortunately, the coating on the 12 inch was wearing thin after so much use over that time period. We decided to buy a new 12 inch, and saw the set of two advertised for $39.99 and purchased them. By the way, when I bought the 12 inch pan 10 years ago at JC Penny Home store, it was $69.99. What came in the mail today for $39.99 was a bad joke. The construction was so thin, both pans together, including the box they came in, WEIGHED LESS than our single 12 inch Emeril pan purchased 10 years ago. I should have known better, you get what you pay for! Obviously, Emeril is now selling a much lower quality line of cookware for the everyday consumer, and all the online home stores sell this particular version. Emerilware has always been made by All Clad, but if you want the best quality, go to a brick and mortar store where you can make sure you get real top line Emerilware, or, just buy All Clad to begin with. You will pay twice as much, but in the end, it will cook better, last much longer, and give you long lasting culinary satisfaction.
