Does the job for less than $80
My pool is 15 x 30, with some indents that make it a tough pool for a cleaner to navigate. This cleaner works great. I run it off my suction side inlet, and the skimmer runs as well. No issues. I recommend using the small spring powered valve they include with it, so you get the right amount of suction (not too much or too little). I tuned my skimmer/suction valve to just get the perfect balance between the two. This cleaner takes a bit to get adjusted, but now it is locked in, although it favors the deep end. It does climb the walls, does not do the steps. My pool guy was amazed at the price, and said that every pool is different and treats cleaners differently. So when you find one that works, hold on to it!
UPDATE: After a year of using this, I started noticing black scrape marks on the corners of my pool. Couldn't figure it out, until I took the cleaner out of the pool and noticed the leading edge of the cleaner was scraped up. And the little round "balls" are actually weights. Metal weights, that were now exposed, and scraping the sides of my pool. So I got a new cleaner and gave this one away. Disappointed, because it worked really well, for $80. But now have a few hundred in maintenance to do to remove the marks.
