This toy garage is BIG. So before you purchase, think about where you will put it. I had to remove my coffee table to make space for it. Assembly is fairly simple and took about 20-30 minutes. My boys (ages 19 months, 4 and 5 years) were excited to race on the loop and the jet plane on top. My boys liked the motorized elevator a lot but the problem we experienced with the gorilla made their excitement turn to constant frustration. Perhaps ours is defective because I haven’t read about others experiencing this, but in our case the gorilla’s foot keeps jamming and stalling the elevator. This garage is twice the price of the original Hot Wheels garage (which my kids still play with), so we expected this new one to be out of this world! Sadly, it isn’t. We have also purchased the Super Auto Tomica Building and other Tomica play sets which are wonderful! They are worth the money. The Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Car Garage is over priced, with a slow motorized elevator, malfunctioning gorilla and lacks the bells and whistles. The parking spots aren’t even numbered. That would have added some educational value to this game. My advice: Save you money and look into Tomica’s play sets. You won’t be disappointed.
