I hate to do this, because I really love this iPad case and keyboard. It is the best out there, except for one small problem. There is a long skinny hinge type thing (I'm a woman who knows nothing about these things) in the middle that controls the opening and closing of the case. Every single one I've purchased, including this last one from Amazon, and the previous one I bought through Amazon, have had the issue of this thing appearing to warp and crack and eventually you cannot open the case. I received this one in April, so Amazon will not replace it, even though for $65, it only lasts less than 4 months. The other one was some vendor who said I had to pay to send it back, and they would determine if it was my fault or not, and if they determined it was, they wouldn't be able to send it back to me. I told them to stuff that 3 month old purchase, and bought this one. I just love this case and I wish they would fix it so it wouldn't only last a few months, and then won't replace it. I am a 59 year old woman. I am very careful with the case. I always open it carefully. I am not some kid who throws her things around. It is not my handling that is causing this issue. I wish I could find something better or as good that lasts more that a few months. I have probably purchased 5 or 6 of these things, because I really love the case and keyboard. I keep hoping it will not break down, but it always does. Time to move on to something else.
