This item is a fraud; it holds only six quarts of water plus a tad bit more; plus none of the stated measurements are what you get with this slow cooker; should read 6 quart and i already have a two, a five and a six quart slow cooker. Both Hamilton Beach and Amazon should be ashamed to have this product label fallacies. DO NOT PURCHASE or you will be sending it back as I am so doing. On the plus side, so far my return experience with Amazon has been flawless...
