UPDATE: The Anker company contacted me via email, and sent me an updated version of the wall charger, which can support charging both Apple and Android products! There have been no problems with this replacement charger overheating while using, so I recommend it! And if you also get a dysfunctional product, Anker stands by their products so you will get a replacement - I absolutely recommend purchasing Anker products for your expensive phones and tablets :) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (Original review - dysfunctional product?) When I'm charging my iPhone 7 and my boyfriend is charging his android phone (Anker charging cables as well), this Anker charging port heats up really hot, to dangerous levels. It doesn't matter if I plug it directly into the wall or into a surge protector, it gets really hot as well as the wires. I worry about my phone getting fried!
