I was reading this book - and was bothered by something but could not immediately put my finger on it as the information was OK and some was interesting. As I flipped through the book I became more uncomfortable and more unsettled and I suddenly realized that the author did not think to put in her book even one photo of a model bigger than a size 4 (and that is stretching it) or older than maybe a 30-35 year old (and that is also stretching it.) My feeling is that an author who writes a book on style and clothes should be sensitive to and representative of all body types. I am quite thin so my complaint is not about me. (OK I am over 60...!) But what we don't need is yet another book that has a sub text of 'this book is for the young and thin because only young and thin people care about what they look and feel like.'
