I wish this product had burned my eyes, because then it wouldn't have taken me so long to realize I was allergic to it. Instead, it made it difficult for me to focus on things, and I thought I was having vision problems. I eventually went to an optometrist, who saw dry spots on my cornea and inflammation in my eyelids. She was concerned about my eye health and changed my contact lens brand, thinking maybe I was allergic to the contacts themselves. It didn't help, and the problem only got worse. I was having sensitivity to light, and then I started getting bad headaches. I went to my primary care doc, who thought I had a sinus infection but also encouraged me to see an ophthalmologist. Then it dawned on me that I started having problems soon after buying a small bottle of Biotrue while on a trip. I switched back to my old generic brand, and the problems immediately went away. No more headaches, no more light sensitivity, and no more blurry vision. I can't believe it took me so long to make the connection--I just didn't know that contact solution could make such a difference. I hope other people see these reviews and can avoid the problems I encountered. It's really stressful not being able to see.
