I purchased this today at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It came with the griddle plate too! I was so very excited to get home and cook my steak. First of all, it was a bit confusing on how to set the temperature on the dial. There isn't a notch to show the position of the temperature gauge. I set it on what I thought was low and it barely got warm. Then I set it on what I thought was high and the grill got much warmer. Cooked my rib eye steak for 14 min and pulled it off the grill to rest for ten minutes. I put my veggies on to cook and unfortunately they did not cook. The grill had completely cooled and was no longer on high. I could no longer get the grill to heat up. The good news is that my steak turned out great. However, that is the only good news. The grill was very difficult to clean. Definitely did not wipe clean easily like the infomercial showed. I had to scrub hard. Additionally, I do not understand why an informational would lie about the grill being dishwasher safe as it is not dishwasher safe at all. Was thinking of cooking fish tomorrow, however will return the grill instead.
