Not Safe for Tiny Puppies
I bought these for my 12 week old Maltese puppy (3lb 9oz). My sweet boy is still getting his baby teeth in and needs softer smaller items to chew on. He loved the taste of these sticks. Unfortunately these sticks don’t last long and if you have a tiny puppy they pose a choking hazard. My boy was able to bite of different size bites almost immediately. The small pieces were getting stuck and I had to pull each piece out of his mouth after he bit it off. If you have a small dog, I highly recommend passing on these. There are other chew treats that are much better and safer for teething puppies.
