All right, so I just received these today in the mail. I've had plantar fasciitis for a while now and it is definitely no fun, especially first thing in the morning. I saw these online, I figured, I'd give it a shot, they don't look too bad. When I took them out of the box, this funky smell hit me... it was so strong, that my cats actually ran from it. There are no instructions in or on the box, what so ever about how long to wear, how to launder, nothing. However I was pleasantly surprised that there was actually a pair in the box and not just one. The white part is made of pretty soft material so it feels pretty good on my feet. Now, the "unique memory foam with cooling gel" aka the blue part... that is mighty unimpressive. I was hoping to feel either the memory foam or the cooling gel part, but unfortunately I don't. The whole thing is barely over (if at all) 1 mm thick, I am not sure it has any effect on anything what so ever. Having to walk with plantar fasciitis I know how important a good support with quite bit of cushion is! Well, these really don't provide much of that at all. I read the rest of the reviews and most people complain about them being too small. I don't have that problem but I do have pretty small feet (size 5.5) so they are almost a bit too big for me but definitely not for someone with swollen or big feet. I guess having a few different sizes could help that issue. I will wear them for a few days and come back with an update to see if my feet feel any different. Update: I've been wearing these for quite a few days now, noticed no difference in my plantar fasciitis. However, if I wear them for a few hours, my heels start sweating in them (eww).
