This is a good pencil but I wanted to say the Essential Brown is a dark brown/black color. Also, be sure to get the right sharpener. They should sell a sharpener but don't and that is why I didn't rate it five stars. I had to buy three different sharpeners to find one thin enough to really give the pencil a sharp point. Best to refrigerate this type of pencil before sharpening to avoid breaking the tip. I have been wearing it only a few days and if I notice it running or smudging, I will come back and edit this review. I am 55 so do find it harder now to find a decent liner that doesn't travel or transfer when sweating. Edited: YOU CANNOT SHARPEN THIS PENCIL! Don't buy it. The tip breaks off every single time, even if refrigerated. I took it to Ulta Cosmetics and no one in there could sharpen it either.
