These things are garbage. I put these on some valuable items including the carrying case for some expensive camera equipment. After working correctly (or at least seeming to) for a few months I received a warning notice that several of my items--including the camera gear--had moved while I was away on a business trip. The "TILE community" had "located them" about 5 miles away from my house as shown on the app's map. Nobody had access to my home so I feared the worst--a break in at my house while I was gone! I returned home from my trip to to find my items still at home right where I left them...and obviously nobody had broken into my home. This happened several times, each time inducing panic but also each time causing me to trust the TILE product less and less. Again, each time my stuff was "found" by the community 5 miles away from my house it had never actually moved in the first place. These things have proven themselves to be little more than a very expensive novelty and should be avoided unless you like throwing cash down the toilet.
