The actual mattress is stiff and unforgiving. No matter how hard we tried we just couldn’t make it work. It’s unbelievably firm. If you are a side sleeper, you will instantly regret this mattress. If you lie completely flat on your back and don’t move perhaps you could stand it but I don’t know many people who are statues. The only thing good about this purchase is Amazon made it right so I could find a better mattress.
