I am not David as my profile suggests lol I am Davi’s wife and this is my review: I understand that I may be in the minority but I can't stand all the use of foul language in this novel - and by this author in general. This is the first of 2 books by this author which have been chosen in my book club and after hearing the preview reading for the second one ("Verity") I won't be reading that or any other book by this author. I don't use that language in my every day life and I certainly don't want to fill my brain with it in my limited and precious off time to myself. If you don't mind the constant use of the F-word and an almost smut-like style of writing then you will probably enjoy this author's writing. I wouldn't say it was astounding but apart from the bad language it was a good story and otherwise easy read. I just personally cannot recommend reading it based on my personal preference and conviction about the language use and smut-like sections of the story.
