I bought two lamps. One came with broken bulb- no problem because it comes with extra bulbs. Both lamps were melting and wet from the package. Unfortunately we live in a humid environment and I wasnt expecting it. I lived in Europe before and had no issues with salt lamps. Not the fault of the company but I would appreciated if this was specified clearly in the product description (that the salt lamps are NOT very suitable in high humidity unless you are ok with having lamp and A/C on 24/7 otherwise it keeps melting. Anyway, as the lamps arrived already wet and the cords were most likely affected- one of the lamp stopped working in a few days so we threw it away. Another one broke 2 months later. We just wasted a lot of money. My husband replaced the lamps with different salt lamps (the cheapest ones he found in the store) and surprisingly they are still working. This is just another example that the expensive things are not always the best. Thank you for the lesson.
