Well the trap did it’s job within hours of setting it up. We noticed a few droppings and some mice sounds during the night so we ordered this trap to try and catch him alive so we could set him loose outside. The trap uses a very sensitive spring to close the entry door and it works very well! My only complaint with this trap is it’s not very easy to remove the bait door. It seems to get stuck pretty easily and it doesn’t feel like you are removing it properly even though you are. A small latch would have been a better mechanism but you can’t argue with the price! Would definitely buy again and even though I hopefully won’t have to use this again; I feel confident it will do the job! Edit: I wouldn’t recommend these anymore unless you are in a real pinch. The plastic is too weak, to the point where the mice actually have chewed through components that keep the flap trap door closed. They are unusable at this point and I would say potentially fixable. The plastic is much too soft for the mice that were found in my house apparently.
