Not Sure if Box or User Needs Waking Up More
One-word description: Amateurish
I love physics-based games, but this one bored me with its simplistic physics, uninspiring music and sounds, and lousy graphics. The instructions are minimal, and there is no undo, only reset. It's difficult to see, even on a 10" tablet, where the piece of wood is going because it's under your finger. Many pieces are too small to figure out what they are, and quite generic. The selection of wood pieces don't necessarily tell you how large or long the piece of wood is, and you don't get a choice of what to choose - the game forces you to pick the piece it wants you to use. Seriously, I can't imagine playing this on a phone!
Story-wise, there isn't much other than you are supposed to wake this box up. Why? No telling. But you do this by essentially dropping or booting him to his demise. And it's very short, too.
At least there is no big permission issue (it wants internet access, which I don't like) but it doesn't have any other bad permissions and no IAP, so it gets a bonus star for those attributes.
I'm usually only down on apps that have security and/or privacy issues. This one, however, just is not worth it, not even for free.
