I have been using this cat for my cats for months. I know that in the center of the mouse is a hard metal bit, so it's important to supervise cats when they play with the toy. I was playing with the toy with my cat when she grabbed it and walked off. She does that sometimes, and I normally wait a minute or two before taking it back to keep playing. When I went to get the toy this time I found her in distress with foam around her mouth, she was struggling to breath and I realized the mouse was stuck in her throat. I was able to pull it back out by the wire without hurting her. If I had not checked on her she would have died. I am posting this review so that people know this toy is a chocking hazard for cats. Between the metal bit and the chocking hazard I'm done with this toy.
