We adopted a new puppy (7-months) and we were trying to potty train her to go in our back yard where we wanted her to go (in the grass). Initially she was using our concrete patio as her toilet so I purchased this spray. She did go to the spray, but instead of using the area as her bathroom she started licking up the spray like it was a tasty treat. My sense of smell is deadened so I can't speak to the odor, if any, but it was not an effective product for us in our attempt at potty training.
