First, the pros: - Opaque. I'm a size 8 and I could easily wear them as a pair of pants (as opposed to just leggings). - Ridiculously comfortable. The inner lining feels *wonderful.* I cannot overstate this - they feel heavenly. - Not too long. I'm 5'3" and there is only the tiniest bit of fabric bunching around my ankles. Worth noting though is that they're very stretchy and would probably fit just as well on someone a good deal taller than me. - Warm. This is the whole reason I got them, and they've not disappointed. They wouldn't be enough for seriously cold weather, but if you're just walking around a chilly house, these'll do the trick. - Sexy. I mean, they're essentially yoga pants. Of course they're sexy. Cons: - As a general "hey, this doesn't matter to me, but it might matter to you," the crotch on these pants is very low. Again, I'm kind of short, so it's not noticeable, but taller women might want to reconsider. Of course, everyone should reconsider buying these because... - The other reviews are not kidding about the smell. I read them and thought, "eh, I'll just soak them." No. No, you cannot just soak them. These pants smell so strongly of chemicals that I had to leave work to go change. It is incredibly overpowering and will saturate a small space in minutes. Imagine cleaning your bathroom and not opening a window or turning on a vent, because it's exactly like that. Literally nauseating and it doesn't go away. - I'd also read that these pants pill easily after washing, which - again - I dismissed as something easily solvable: I'd just hand wash them. Unfortunately, that didn't stop them from pilling. Oh, they were fine after I finished laundering them, but they pill pretty much when they come into contact with anything. It'd be one thing if they pilled where my thighs touched at the top, but they're pilling at the backs of my thighs where I sit on my feet. I would love - LOVE - to love these pants. They just feel so, so, so good. But I won't be buying another pair.
