I bought this flat iron almost 2 years ago. It’s done a decent job until about a week ago when it started shocking me from where the power cord connects to the unit. Today, while using it, I heard a loud POP, saw a flash and smoke, and felt a zap. See attached photo. A large spark from the end of the iron where it’s connected to the cord burned my arm. Needless to say, I threw it in the trash. Buyers beware.
