I spent a little more money as I thought I was getting a good product. Wrong! This is the most unfriendly kitchen appliance ever, it takes two people to operate, one person has to hold the bag with the food and insert it in a slot near the top of the machine and then the second person has to use two hands to press a sealing bar left and right corners at the same time. Ridiculous, I wasted pretty much all of their bags trying to get the hang of this. So frustrating, how anybody can come up with a design like this is beyond me. One other thing I may add, user may need some ear protection, this machine is so loud. I am so happy with my Kitchener 55023006 Automatic Fresh Food Saver purchased from Amazon a very quiet and powerful machine with very good customer service. Needless to say the other machine is going back after one day. There are so many better and cheaper machines out there on Amazon which do not require the use of their very expensive Foodsaver bags.
