My husband and I used a NuWave for at least 8 years and we love it. We accepted as part of the cost that every year or so the plastic dome would be cracked beyond use and we'd have to order another one for $15. We were even willing to shell out for a new motor unit one year. But imagine our surprise when I went last week to order a new dome and the price had jumped to $45 plus shipping. That is simply too much to pay for a part that I shouldn't have to replace in the first place, and that I know is going to crack - and that is "refurbished". (We got a replacement dome once that cracked within a few weeks, and were sent a free replacement for the replacement.) At this point I am through and I bought a tempered glass convection oven instead.
