Fit well. Very comfortable; at first seem tight, but hardly notice they are on once I get moving. Fortunately have not yet tested impact effectiveness, but I am certain it they will avoid the road/dirt/tree rashes and scrapes. Update. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to test the impact resistance of these elbow pads. Not a good experience. The picture's worth 1000 words, they say, so check these out. Perhaps they would protect the elbow from a direct impact on small branches, but not a slide on gravel or presumably a hard trail. From the gouge in my arm it is apparent that the pad split up and rotated so that the seam was directly on the elbow and dug in. So if you're looking for something to protect you in a serious fall, these would not be the best choice.
