I wanted to love this book. The characters were well developed, as well as the plot, but the presentation, the follow through... it did not work because of the grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors that littered the 55% of the novel that I did read. I kept going though... to that 55% where I encountered the following: "She stopped her menstruations and looked at the boy." Had this been the only technical error, I would have ignored it, but it wasn't. It was the point at which I felt that all of these errors took away all enjoyment out of reading the story. I am going to give this story two stars on my review blog because I feel there is promise and had the author either employed a professional editor, or made use of writer's groups that offer editing and constructive criticism to their members, there would be a good story here. I cannot, however, in good conscience, give a higher rating or those two stars here that might spur someone on to purchase. I was given a copy of this book, by the author, for an honest review.
