While my purchase was the generation prior to this model, I thinks it's important I point out an issue with Worx's warranty support when considering spending this much money on a company's product. When my Landroid failed with a charging and programming issue just after a year into my 3 year warranty, I replaced the battery on my own expense to avoid hassle with warranty process (now seeing that action as warranted based on experience I will now convey). The battery did not fix the problem, so I contacted Worx Support. After describing symptoms, support agent diagnosed a failed charging station and set up a work order to ship a new one to me under warranty. That was over six weeks ago. I have to point out that Worx discontinued my model (794) months after it was purchased new. After waiting weeks with no movement, I had to call back to get a status (they have never contacted me back in all the times I have reached out to them). They told me the item was backordered with no estimated date of being in stock. So what are the odds of a discontinued item being restocked after being on backorder for six weeks? Not likely. I have even offered what I thought to be a reasonable solution by replacing the failed system with a refurbished unit as long as they'll honor the two years left on my warranty. No response. Part of the problem is you can't get past the first level call agent to talk to anybody who can/will do anything. I'm on hold again as I type this for the last 45 minutes, because that's all they'll do is put you on hold so they can go try and find out anything. As I've told them (and even to document on my case record), my next steps are to leave this statement of facts and review on all relevant sites, then file with business support agencies like BBB, Consumer Protection Agency, etc. and finally if needed to bring in my lawyer and we can all have fun dealing it that way. I will update if/when Worx ever acts on my claim.
