What happened to the great NuPro clear screen protectors I've always bought for my previous Fire HD Tablets?????? I've loved the Fire 7 and Fire 8 screen protectors, but this is awful! The protector went on easily, bubbles easily were pushed to the sides; EXCEPT for the long bubble across the entire bottom of black border (landscape mode) where there is no dust or fingerprints, but also NO adhesive. My visual view is not obstructed because it is below the screen. But, watching that rolling wave at the bottom is annoying. In our household, I am the person that applies all screen protectors to devices. For the most part, applications (numerous phones, Kindles, & iPad's) is usually flawless, so I am experienced. I turn off the Heat/AC fan, add humidity (spraying warm water in the air through out the room before beginning. I slowly (as in very, very slowly) clean device, then using a high powered flashlight; carefully apply the awesome dust remover tape all over, repeatedly, slowly. (Flashlight is a must to spot the tiniest flecks of dust.) Then slowly, peel away covers and apply. The protector is perfect, except that it will not stick along the bottom, black edge of the border. It seems that whatever adhesive was applied to the protector, so that it "clings" to the device screen, was NOT sprayed evenly across the screen protector. So wherever there is no adhesion on the screen protector, it will not adhere. There is a second protector available in the package, but I'm not wasting my time peeling it off and applying it, because most likely it is also defective. So, I've just ordered the Omotion screen protector instead; and am hoping the high reviews on that one are true and accurate. My advice: Just because you have always trusted NuPro in the past, do not automatically order this for your new Kindle Fire HD 10 (2017 version). Please look through all of the most recent reviews. If you do decide to order, I sincerely hope that yours is not defective. Best wishes!
