I bought this replacement bulb for my 2003 Escalade expecting it to be the same color cast as the original. It is not and it’s much more yellow. Let me clarify my taste by saying that I am not into blue lights at all and that was a big trend about 8 years ago. Although the stock original light on the passenger side is bluer it’s definitely not a blue light but yet is not yellowish either. It’s just brighter and a more crisp color vs the yellowish Philips Xenon bulb that I received and I’m not happy at all with its color. It looks like my 1970 Camaro headlights which have a yellow color cast like all headlights of that era. I’ve had it installed for about a week on my Escalade and haven’t driven the truck at night until now. I tossed the packaging so who knows what I can do about this now. I wouldn’t even know how to tell what color another brand would be like compared to this Philips. Maybe I should’ve just bit the bullet and bought one from the dealership to avoid buying a yellowish bulb. I don’t think that I am being unfair by giving it 1 star due to its color because who with a luxury vehicle wants yellowish headlights.?? Did I mention that the color of this bulb is yellow.?
