Rafe fancied himself a better writer than the authors and decided to make sweeping changes for some cheap "yas queen" moments, when the original books already had empowering depictions of badass women. He changed the fundamental magic system to make it "non-binary". The boys and Lan are relegated to mostly useless. Lan, the greatest Warder in probably an age, killed about 3 Trollocs in Episode 1 and that's it. Perrin and Mat were completely useless. Rand's big moment was stolen from him to "empower" female characters, creating a major plot hole. I've waited years for this and watching the finale today broke my heart. Please get rid of Rafe.
