I woke up in the middle of the night because of piercing screams coming from my 3 pound netherland dwarf bunny. It was the scariest sound ever and I thought my bunny was dying. I ran to his playpen to find his head was stuck between the wires. It was stuck so tight I couldn't free him with my hands. I had to use tools to bend the wires to get him out. He was screaming the whole time from the pain. His eyes are red and he is still shaken and afraid. I think had I not woken up, he would have died for sure. I DO NOT recommend this playpen for bunnies, especially dwarf bunnies. I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my story because my bunny almost died. He is 3 pound netherland dwarf. He never got his head stuck in other playpens before. This play pen's wires are too far apart.
