Please read before buying. Like many other customers, I received a clearly USED and UNCLEAN pair of clippers. I thought that by ordering from Amazon direct, I would be assured a new product, but clearly I was wrong. Like others, the decal on the front of the clippers was rubbed off in spots, and there were scratches all over the silver finish. I thought this may have happened in transit, with the loose accessories rattling around in the box, but upon inspecting the blades, they were totally dirty! The blades on a new pair of clippers should not be pre-oiled. So imagine my surprise when, after running my thumb over the bare blades, I felt a gritty, oil-y residue. The grittiness is due to the dander left by the last dog these clippers were used on. Which means that not only were these clippers pre-owned, but they were not even sterilized before being repackaged with fresh guards and a new pair of scissors. Totally unsanitary, unsafe and I couldn't be more disappointed. Luckily, Amazon took care of things and I purchased the Wahl Professional Animal Deluxe U-Clip Pet Clipper Trimmer Grooming Kit for Dogs Cats and Pets Hair Fur #9484-300 instead. The UCLIP came brand new and worked great.
