Story Premise was Good
The idea was good, but the execution not so much. I got this book as Kindle First Reads, and glad I got it for free. I knew I was going to have a problem with this book as soon as the two main characters went "rogue." I just don't like those kinds of stories, and the fact that they did it so easily, so completely, and then dragged others into it (and they easily fell into it as well) totally turned me off. In addition to all their illegal activity, there were all the other moral flaws and bad behavior. Even with their bad childhood, neither Sean nor Liam was likable, and I had no one to root for. At 18% I knew what the twist was going to be, so I didn't even have the pleasure of being surprised. The ending was the best part of the book for me--as it was like more successful mystery books at that point: the confrontation/confession. This book was just not successful enough to be an enjoyable read for me.
