I've had acne for years and tried a bunch of stuff, but my skin got better over time, but I still have issues, from some light scarring or at times I'm heavily broke out to days with clear skin and bad again so I figured this product would be perfect and I was wrong. I know with acne and bumps it can different for everyone. I got this and was so excited and read the directions thoroughly and knew that there was a good chance my skin would be worse before it got better and I expected it, but not to this extend. My skin wasn't bad when I started used this, it was drying, but I just moisturized more and didn't care. I noticed my skin was getting worse, I had a ton of blackheads and I'm not prone to blackheads. I was getting whiteheads. I was breaking out BAD, VERY VERY BAD which pimples all over my chin and cheeks. I again expected my skin to get worse, but my skin wasn't bad before and I didn't need to wear makeup and when I started using this I had to wear makeup to cover up how bad my skin looked. About 4 weeks in to using this I was at home one day and my face was itching and I literally had to scratch and scratch my face because it was uncontrollably itch to the point where I thought I might draw blood. I'm not allergic to anything, I don't have sensitive skin, I've used prescription acne medicine a lot in the past, but my skin wasn't bad, it just broke out more than I feel it should have and when it broke out it broke out a lot so I chose this hoping to get my skin back on track and hoping it would look better. This product ruined my skin. After 4 weeks my skin would not stop itching all day and felt hot. I would use product at night and by the next day my skin would itch and would feel hot and hurt, I was covered in blackheads, whiteheads, and bumps. I know the common question is you must of changed your routine or used something different because why did this problem start after 4 weeks, I didn't. I couldn't believe that this would take 4 weeks to have that reaction, but the bumps appeared with 2 weeks so I decided to change how I used the product. My face hurt, was itchy, felt hot and was covered in every type of bump you could imagine so I figured I would stop using the product for a few days. The two days I didn't use this product my skin felt less itchy and hot, but all the bumps stayed. The first day I used this product my face was hot and itchy all over again so any confusion I had that it was this product and this product was cleared up. This product didn't work for me, it left my skin covered in blackheads, whiteheads, pimples after 2 weeks and itchy and hot after 4. I tried to spread the product out for about 2 weeks and every time I used it my skin was horrible, so I have since stopped using this and my skin is getting back to normal, I'm not breaking out, my whiteheads are gone, my blackheads are still there, but I'm working on them, but the incessant itching and hot face is gone which honestly was too much to handle. I wouldn't recommend this product, but I do understand this product is probably perfect for a lot of people, unfortunately I wasn't one of them and I got all the bad you can get from this. People will try this regardless because when you have bad skin, you will try anything to fix it and what works for one won't work for another so I hope it works for you, but my experience was awful.
