Buyer beware! These are not appropriate for kids.
I bought this boxed set for my 12 y.o. niece and my daughter for Christmas thinking how fun it would be to read about alternate endings to the Disney stories we love. These books are so dark and violent, I am shocked they are sold under the Disney brand!
