I wish I could give this product a zero and I hope that this review helps somebody else. I first started noticing a large gash at the bridge of my dog's nose. The first I thought it was because she had hit it going under the bed. My husband said he wondered if it was from this dog bowl. So, I took it away and used her old one for a few days. Sure enough, it immediately started to heal up. Out of curiosity I gave it to her one more time (sorry I did) and sure enough her nose was injured again from trying to get down to get to her food. The raised ridges cause a large sore spot on her nose. So, be careful with this bowl I have thrown mine away and her nose is almost back to normal.
