This kit did not work... but here is a free solution.
I followed the instructions and the hints in other reviews, I even checked with a multimeter right after reattaching the tab and got 0 resistance. However, a few days later when i reattached the wire and it didn't work. I rechecked the resistance and it was .323. Here is what did work, for free if you have a solder iron and electrical solder. 1. Re-cleaned the tab and metallic surface of the glass. I used some sandpaper on the tab and rubbing alcohol on the glass until both were shiny. 2. Using pliers to hold the tab, heat the tab and melt a good thick layer of solder onto the tab part that will touch the glass. Let the solder re cool. 3. After the solder is cooled on the tab, using pliers push the tab onto the glass were you want to affix it. 4. Push the back of the tab with the hot solder iron until you see the solder start to flow. 5. Remove solder iron from the back of the tab, continue to put pressure on the tab with pliers. 6. After 30 seconds or so, you can release the tab from pliers and check the resistance with a multimeter. It should now show 0 resistance.
