I've owned Therm-a-Rest Products in the past and have always been happy with them. The MondoKing 3D is HUGE, which is great when you're sleeping on it but could be problematic given that its packed size is also HUGE. That being said, you get a great night's sleep. It's nearly as comfortable as my memory foam mattress at home. I've used it in sub-freezing temps and never felt a chill even though I'm a cold sleeper. Unfortunately, the seam on my MondoKing 3D split on the fourth night of use while camping at high altitude in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains. Luckily, I had TearAid (which I can't recommend enough) on hand to effect a quick field repair. I've added one star back given that Therm-a-Rest customer service is sending a replacement. Further Edit: 10/10, Cascade Designs has been slow and spotty. I was told to destroy the pad and send photos of it in order to get a replacement. I did that on 9/26 and am still waiting to hear back. The pad has been rendered beyond repair per their instructions and now they’ve gone silent. Edit 2/6/20 I finally received a replacement pad from Cascade designs last week - more than five months after the problem was reported and I was instructed to destroy the defective pad! Throughout the process, Cascade Designs - Therm-A-Rest's parent company - customer service has been absolutely atrocious. Extremely poor communication and vague answers were pretty much the norm from them. While I've liked their products in the past, there's no way I'm going through that again. I'd avoid at all costs.
