I ordered this journal for my niece who is a young teen. I had this item shipped directly to her. She lives in a different state than I do. Needless to say, I didn't have the opportunity to proof read the questions in the TEEN journal. Which is apparently is a necessary step if you are going to be gifting this journal to a teenager. There are several inappropriate questions such as "My sexual activity is____________" or "My favorite cuss word is______________". Although I feel like the concept of a 3-year journal plan is a great way for the writer to see how they grow and change from year to year, I don't feel that those are types of questions are appropriate at any teen level. Luckily my niece & her mother have a good sense of humor and were able to have a laugh about it. They understand the concept of the journal but hopefully will be passing over and ignoring the inappropriate questions.
