I am annoyed. I have bought many 25 oz bags of almonds via Amazon/Diamond store. Got one 25 oz bag of Wasabi Soy that were bad. No visible issues with the packaging. Contents clotted with a very faint ammonia smell. Threw them in trash see the lovely picture. Thought - hey I am a loyal customer Diamond will square me away. No they won't. They will give you a one time coupon you cannot use on Amazon, cannot use on the online Diamond Store you must use with a local retailer. If you are like me and the item was a 25 OZ bag of flavored almonds chances are good there will be zero local retailers you can use to get the item replaced. When you complain about this, they will - really I have the emails to prove it - explain to you you don't know which stores to go to, and they will give you address and numbers to stores - that do not have the item. So now I need to find an alternative to almonds as part of my diet plan. UPDATE 1: Diamond reached out to me after this review was posted, and offered what I asked for initially - credit to reorder the defective item from Amazon or Diamond. So I have upped my rating to two stars from one star. Between the defective item itself and the painful process to get an equivalent replacement I can't rate this product & transaction higher than that. UPDATE 2: The gift card they sent me had already been redeemed. This is going back to one star and staying there. Shame on me for not checking first - dumb me I trusted them. UPDATE 3 10/29/2020: Over a week later they sent a 2nd Card. It was bad (already redeemed) - so they have sent me two bad gift cards. They called me to admit the second card was a bad code - and also tell me the first one not working was my problem - I needed to work it out with Amazon. After some time on the phone Amazon confirmed the card code was not usable based on some action the owner (BD) had taken. Still not resolved I am so disappointed.
