Hopefully my situation never happens to anyone. These treats were a great price buy so I was excited to give them to my cats. I had 2 cats a boy and a girl. The girl cat refused to eat them and I figured she was just being picky and I didn't think anything of it. My boy cat was a fatty and would eat all his food and hers then go to the kitchen and open the cat food container and help himself to more. He ate the treats without hesitation (no surprise there) about 2 weeks after I started giving him these treats he started to have problems in the litterbox so I took him to the vet to get checked. They said he had a urinary track infection and I followed all instructions to get him better. Long story short, after what seemed like forever I stopped giving him these treats and he started to get better finally. I started to suspect the treats being the cause so I put them in a bag to send back. Unfortunately the container was later left open by a friend and my boy cat helped himself to a lot of the treats and a few days later he got horribly worse and got blocked. Rushed him into vet in middle of the night and after 6 hours of them doing everything they could they told me the only way to be sure he wouldn't get re-blocked was to do an extreme invasive procedure that would cost $12,000 and they couldn't guarantee that he would survive. I had to put him down... I loved that cat like my own child, losing him left a large hole in my life as we did everything together. He was very attached to me since the winter I saved him from starving and freezing to death at 3-4 weeks old and nursed him back to health. He was leash and cat trained and went with me everywhere except work, he slept with me every night, when I cried he would headbut and squeak at me till I stopped. Even now that it's been 9 months since he passed I still can't talk about it without crying even now:/ for anyone who is thinking of getting these treats please pay close attention to your cats health. I should have thought more of my girl cat refusing to eat them and maybe my boy would still be here. She's sad he's gone but she's healthy and they are the exact same diet with the exception of these treats.
