The functionality to select radio stations on the unit itself did not work. It worked only via the remote. I called Amazon and the wonderful rep connected me to Sharp's trouble-shooting line and stayed with me through the entire process. The Sharp person put me on hold. When he got back, he told me that I misunderstood how the functionality worked and referred me to a page in the manual that would explain it to me. The page he sent me to had nothing to do with selecting radio stations. I found the page that did and read it to him, demonstrating that the understanding I had was confirmed by their manual. He put me on hold again. I decided that I was wasting my time and told the Amazon rep that I wanted to return the item for a refund. I must say, though, the sound quality of the product was excellent and the product was a great replacement for the Sony multi-disc player I had had for about 12 years. I'm really sorry that it didn't work and that tech support disappointed.
