These are NOT Pur filters. Once installed they shoot water out without filtering and there is a noticeable taste difference as it does not actually filter the water. Attached you can see a photo of the filter we received versus the actual filter purchased at the store. The ineffective filter is purple, does not have Pur anywhere on it, and came in a silver foil. The actual Pur filter is clearly marked, blue, and in a gold foil container. The boxes even look as if they have been previously opened in order to replace the actual filters with these knock offs.
