I have two CalDigit TS3 Plus units and they have worked relatively flawlessly. I had to replace a power supply once but that's all. The TS4 has a very very serious issue that the previous TS3 did not: it dumps drives if the computer is asleep for a while. YEP- while the TS3 kept the drives mounted (while asleep) and kept active connections, the TS4 loses connections. As well, the computer experiences hard crashes where it shuts down on its own and restarts. This is on an M1 Max MacBook Pro 16" (fully loaded) with minimal software installed. All I did was replace the TS3 with the TS4.. no other changes were made. Have had nothing but problems. And I would call these pretty inexcusable and intense problems. Worse yet, Caldigit support isn't what it used to be. My support tickets from a week ago haven't been answered, neither have 2 calls and 2 chats. A terrible experience.
