An Amazingly bad product -- unable to peel off the paper from the sheet!
I tried this on several sheets and have attached photos of the ends of a single sheet: As you can see the 'PEEL HERE' end of the sheet does not peel away cleanly at all! Maybe due to the sheets being dried out? (See note below about other 2 brands coming with sheets in cellophane bags.) I tested Avery with several sheets and get the same result. I've tried both Scotch single-side and Everest single-side sheets and each product has the sheets pack arrive enclosed in a separate sealed cellophane bag inside the cardboard box. Not Avery, though. I am so surprised at Avery as that name is usually a benchmark for labels et al. A waste of $12 to buy this product, but then I've been testing which brand is best. While I'm at it -- and for those of you who need a single-side laminate sheet here's some feedback: EVEREST -- the better of the 2 compared to SCOTCH. Everest's 3 mil. sheets peel easily, and are easier to smooth out with fewer bubbles or wrinkles. I can even pull up a corner and reposition the sheet. Can't do that with Scotch. SCOTCH 6 mil. sheets peel easily but are much more difficult to control in terms of bubbles, creases, etc. AND once that sticky sheet makes contact with your surface (mine is photo quality color printer paper from Canon) then it IS stuck and you cannot move or peel it back to correct. I tried once and the glossy paper separated! If you need a heavy laminate then Scotch 6 mil. would have to the choice, but if you can live with a thinner 3 mil. sheet then I see that Everest is lots better. As to Avery, 'Live and Learn' I guess. It isn't worth trying to return; I'll just eat the $12 and consider myself a bit wiser.
