Our unit has an intermittent signal outage, and loses signal every few seconds while in our master bedroom. We have a large house and the wifi router is between us and the baby's room, which would be typical I think if you have a split bedroom floor plan. I don't know if it's because of one of those things, but the monitor is so unreliable I'm inclined to stop using it after about 2-3 weeks of having a couple of nights a week where I have to turn off the signal loss alarm to sleep. Then it's hard to sleep because I worry that the signal will be lost and I will miss it when the baby wakes up. Having a new baby means there is enough to worry about, I don't need sleepless nights over a crappy monitor signal too.
