I love it for the action, the mystery, the fun. And the last few have been about sex or relationships or drama. This one had a little action, some mystery some sex ( if thats what u call it) but the majority was drama....almost teenage drama.( if your a parent to one , you know how trying that can be) going back over things that anita worked out the last book...to many, not enough, and why me.... Over and over....every decision , every upward movement brought out Anita's lack of self worth and esteem. As much as the author had Anita talking about how all the cops thought in double standards , she fell into the same double standards as a character. She felt insufficient, unable too make decisions, and horribly redundant. The author has turned a strong female character into a whinny killer. Anita has lost her strength and her ability to grow. Basically the author has crippled this character. Hopefully the next book will be more strength of character then this weak imitation .
