Children Are Not Dogs...
I read this, honestly, because of the notoriety that it has garnered in both the Christian and secular world. I have only a few things to say about it. One, children are not dogs, and should not be "trained" as such. These people ARE NOT honoring their children's basic human dignity. Two, children have a right to their own emotions. A child should never be disciplined because they are angry or upset. They are people, and have a right to own the way they feel. Three, and lastly, whoever organized this book's layout is a joke. Each chapter is a repeat of the first. Literally no new information is given after the first ten or fifteen pages. It's rambling and does not hang together well as a book. Terrible.
