I'm a huge fan of the Apple Earpods; (this would have been my 3rd pair) I'm just not a fan of the price for them, which is why I tried to find them cheaper on Amazon. BIG Mistake! Unfortunately you can't see what your getting before you buy them and if you've ever owned a real pair of Earpods, you will immediately be able to tell the difference: 1. No Mic 2. Buttons are very hard to press 3. Wires aren't as sturdy (extremely important for product longevity.) 4. Packaging is clearly missing the Apple symbol and actually looked like it was already opened. (A smear, that just may be earwax, was on my "new" headphones) 5. Last but not least: The sound quality is not very good: While these aren't the worst I've heard before they definitely aren't Apple quality. Music isn't as clear, bass is weaker, the right and left headphones were shaped differently....just a very disappointing product. In the end: if you really like the Earpods I would advise shelling the extra $ to buy at your local store or trustworthy online vendor. While they give you 2 for a cheap price, it is most likely because they are overstocked with these phony headphones. I'm not so upset that these are bad headphones but more angry that this vendor sells the like they're genuine saying "Genuine APPLE Earpods OEM", when they're not. I specifically searched for Apple products to avoid this but it seems on Amazon it's becoming harder to tell the difference. Please stop this Madness! It's giving a terrible name to a great company. And once again...save your money and DONT buy these!
